Statement 18 March 2020

Cambria Specialist Dental Practice is monitoring the COVID-19/Corona Virus outbreak closely and in
light of the rapidly evolving circumstances, we wanted to update you on the steps we are taking in
response to the situation.

Cambria Specialist Dental Practice is following the advice from the Chief Dental Officer for Wales. In
line with this advice we are working differently during the COVID-19/Corona Virus outbreak.

We are no longer able to see patients for routine treatment. However, we can see patients who are
in pain or are experiencing any dental problems. Please contact us to discuss your dental problem
before you visit our practice.

You can contact us during our normal opening hours to discuss any concerns you may have on
01792-202229. Please bear in mind that we may be busy dealing with patients – if you reach the
voicemail option, please leave a message and we will call you back as soon as we possibly can.
To protect other patients and our staff, please only visit the practice if you are feeling well and you
have not had any contact with people displaying the symptoms of Corona Virus.

If you have a new continuous cough or a high temperature (37.8 degrees centigrade or higher), then
you should self-isolate (stay at home) for seven days from the start of the symptoms. If you live with
someone who has these symptoms, then you should self-isolate for 14 days.

To reduce the risk of spreading infection, we will ask you to sanitise your hands as you arrive at the
practice and we may ask you to wait in your car until we are ready to see you for treatment.
Please do not bring any people with you into the practice.

As we have already seen, this is a fast-moving situation so this advice may change. Please rest
assured that we will update our communication as soon as get any news.
